Born and raised in Russia, Dasha graduated from the Herzen State Pedagogical University (Russia) and the University of Northern Iowa (USA) with BFA, MA and MFA degrees in art education and graphic design. She has been living in the US for some years and has her own brand, DM Graphic Design Collection.
Dasha draws inspiration from everything – textiles, old newspapers, modern industrial design or photography. Dasha says, ” One of the things that inspires me is mail stamp art, stamps, post marks and handwriting – all the things that make cards and stationery unique.Dasha is best known for greetings cards and her customer list is global. Future plans include an online store and a book about social stationery.
