Gifts and Greetings Review was delighted to attend The Retas Awards 2012 as a guest of Spring and Autumn Fair.
Organised by Max Publishing, The Retas are the Oscars of UK greeting card retailing, held annually at the glamorous location of The Dorchester in London. Spring and Autumn Fair was category sponsor for the Best Greeting Card Newcomer South award, which was won by Greeting Galore, Bristol and Gloucester. Finalists in this category also included B Cards, London, Kerfuffle, Brighton, Polkadot, Bristol and The Card Shop Portishead.
From all the category winners the ultimate accolade of Greeting Card Retailer of the year was chosen. The top prize for 2012 went to Mayther, winner of the Best Greeting Card Small Multiple category. Mayther operates from seven shops in the South of England.
