Autumn story from Symetria

Symetria has just launched a new range of cards that tell the story of a little girl named Autumn.

The seasonal semiology of burnt orange and bright copper tones is represented here by her long flowing locks of fiery red hair. The gothic, fairytalesque style of illustration hints at the season’s melancholy association – the transition from summer to winter, Halloween and the loss of a loved umbrella to a breezy afternoon.

The delicate pleasures of the season are also on show – crunching crispy foliage underfoot, whistling winds through wise old woods, park bench encounters with furry friends, jumping in piles of fallen leaves, shed from yawning deciduous trees. The use of ‘Ma’ (or negative space) regularly present throughout our portfolio, provokes the viewer’s imagination into creating a visual narrative.

Cards are 125 x 125 mm, blank inside, cello wrapped with a recycled brown fleck envelope.
