Winners of The Henries 2012

We were delighted to attend The Henries greeting card awards at the Lancaster London hotel as a guest of i2i Events Group, producer of Spring and Autumn Fair and sponsor of the Best Photographic Range category.

There was a nautical theme to this year’s awards, with hosts Warren Lomax and Jakki Brown of Progressive Greetings taking a look back at the stormy seas negotiated by the greetings card industry over the past year.

Ladder Club organiser Lynn Tait was the proud winner of this year’s Honorary Achievement award, while the Most Promising Young Designer or Artist (sponsored by Slater Harrison) was named as Hannah Dale, founder and creator of the wonderful Wrendale Designs. Hannah also scooped the Best Art Range Award (sponsored by MGL Licensing) for her The Country Set range, pictured here. The Henry Cole Classic Award (sponsored by The Sherwood Press) was given to timeless humour range Eric The Penguin from The Great British Card Company.
