Over the Moon, the design firm behind the enormously successful My Cat Pip brand, has donated three specially produced images of the loveable little cat in Christmassy settings to leading animal welfare charity the RSPCA.
The three designs are available as print-on-demand Christmas cards and ecards as part of the RSPCA’s popular charity gifts. The sale of these gifts contributes to the RSPCA’s fundraising whilst also raising awareness of the charity’s efforts to help animals.
The back of each card will contain an RSPCA logo and a message highlighting the work the RSPCA does rescuing, rehabilitating and rehousing cruelly treated, injured, sick or neglected animals.
RSPCA licensing manager Cathy Snow said, “Christmas is a time for giving but the generous donation of these three images by Over The Moon brings with it a second gift. It will encourage purchases from the public that will boost our work in helping animals in England and Wales — and especially in helping black and white cats who are the trickiest cats to rehome! Our thanks to Over The Moon — and, of course, to Pip for being such a good sport!”
Karen Bendy, creative director of Over The Moon Design Ltd, added, “The opportunity to raise funds for a cause close to our own hearts and, we suspect, the heart of our very own little cat, is a chance not to be missed. Over The Moon is delighted to support the RSPCA’s work at this important time of the year — and so is Pip!”
My Cat Pip started life as a design brand with a strong emphasis on the greetings card and wrap sector. Since then, My Cat Pip images have translated successfully to a range of other products including children’s books, on demand cards and gifts, magazines, plush, children’s apparel, calendars and planners, stationery and more. Today the charming little black cat has an established appeal to both adults and kids and a strong retail presence in the UK and around the world with over one-and-a-half-million branded products sold to date.
