Photographer Antony Nobilo has launched a range of 30 greeting cards called Beautiful Memories, inspired by his extensive Camera Collection of photographs. 50 more designs are already in the pipeline.
Antony is a professional photographer specialising in fashion and portraiture. The Beautiful Memories project resulted from a series of limited edition prints he produced and exhibited in December 2011. He comments:
“I was photographing my camera collection for insurance purposes and I realised the images were actually
really beautiful, so I produced fine art prints from them. The prints sold out and I took them to New York while I was on a job there shooting. The first gallery I went to snapped them up and from there I realised the potential.
“I began producing cards in December 2012 and pitched them to The Conran Shop. They immediately placed an order. Each camera appeals to a different audience and the range has an enormous appeal to photography enthusiasts, designers, young, old and all nationalities.”
All cards are packaged in Cello envelopes with white envelopes. Sizes are 6 x 4inch (150×203). Existing stockists include MOMA, New York, The Conran Shop, London and Paris, The Natural History Museum, The Institute of Contemporary Art, The Southbank Centre, The V&A Museum, The Barbican Centre, The ICA, London and The Institute of Modern Art, Ireland.
