The DM Collection, F19: One of our favourite new greeting card publishers, The DM Collection is a fast growing supplier of high quality, decorative greetings cards. Award-winning artist Daniel Mackie is the designer of this beautiful collection, which got off to a great start in in 2013 with unique decorative animal cards; Each creature has its natural habitat depicted within it. These interiors are very much inspired by japanese prints and vintage Chinese wall paper. We’d love to see these as fine art prints as well!
Moongazer Cards, E17: We are enchanted by Moongazer Cards, which launched in January 2013 and beautifully capture the magic of childhood in the delicate watercolour illustrations by Sally Anne Lambert. ‘Spellbound’ is the core range comprising 16 cards each illustrating a poem which is printed on the reverse, some are well known but most are a collaboration with the artist’s mother, Maureen Lambert. A further four ranges feature British wildlife; an enchanted forest; a magical story-book world filled with teddies, toys and faerie folk, plus a ‘Rogue’s Gallery’ of characterful felines with plenty of attitude and just a whisker of menace.
Berni Parker, D24: Now in her third year as a card publisher, renowned artist Berni Parker has an extensive portfolio of card ranges, associated stationery and giftware. Her latest designs will be shown at Top Drawer with new additions to the successful and ever popular Ladies Who Love Life range and the Whispers on Wings Fairies. There will also be a new Couples range – Loving Life Together – using Berni’s subtle humour and unmistakeable style for everyday situations and milestone anniversaries, plus a beautiful new square art card range of typical English scenes and icons of our country called Quintessentially English produced on a soft textured board with a heritage green envelope.
Love from Lemonade, B10: This publisher specialises in quirky greetings cards designed to make people smile. All of the materials used are either recycled, recyclable or both and the Love from Lemondade printer is FSC accredited. Lots of lovely new designs will be launched at the show. We’d really love to see you on Stand B10!
Have a Gander, V58: Have a Gander is the love-child of husband-and-wife team Peter and Fiona Gander, who are based in Herne Bay on north Kent’s coast. Fiona takes care of operations while Peter works on design and illustration. Have a Gander’s offer is quite diverse but all products have a common link, they are derived from hand-drawn or hand-lettered originals. The publisher has a policy of using only British suppliers.
