The National Stationery Show will continue its partnership with Etsy Wholesale for the second consecutive year, with an expanded four-prong collaboration expected to bring an increased number of Etsy Wholesale sellers to the Show, due to take place on May 17-20, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Center.
Elements of the 2015 partnership include: a special section of the National Stationery Show’s juried collection, #fresh, devoted to Etsy wholesalers; an Etsy wholesale booth for buyers to learn more about its B2B program and a slate of marketing support initiatives for participating Etsy exhibitors — both pre-show and on-site — as well as strategic outreach to Etsy Wholesale retailers to motivate their NSS attendance – through digital and social media platforms.
“We’re delighted to extend our collaboration with Etsy Wholesale to craft a dynamic forum for new design talent to flourish,” said Patti Stracher, vice president and show director for the National Stationery Show. “The extension of our partnership with Etsy Wholesale is consistent with the National Stationery Show’s positioning as the only market that presents the depth and range of social stationery across the design spectrum to its core audience, while also building upon the attendance growth we enjoyed in 2014 among Etsy Wholesale’s brick and mortar store owners.”
“Partnering with the National Stationery Show gives many talented Etsy Wholesale designers a chance to meet with buyers face-to-face and also gives industry professionals a peek at the incredible talent that Etsy Wholesale can deliver,” said Elana Dweck, Etsy Wholesale program manager. “We are delighted to continue and expand on our partnership with the National Stationery Show and to increase our core audience’s participation at this in-person wholesale marketplace.”
Etsy Wholesale is an online platform that allows retailers to connect and transact directly with emerging independent designers. Special signage and listings will call out Etsy wholesalers, both in the #fresh section, and throughout the rest of the National Stationery Show exhibit floor.
The National Stationery Show is North America’s most comprehensive source for greeting cards, social stationery, complementary lifestyle products and resources for creative pursuits, taking place annually at New York City’s Jacob K. The Show also presents extensive educational programming, industry events, and networking opportunities throughout the market week.
