Aykroyds was awarded the Design award as its new season designs have captured the heart of the new style guides and shown fantastic progression. Largest retail growth was awarded to Paul Dennicci; 2016 sees Paul Dennicci’s Tiny Tatty Teddy baby apparel in new retailers such as M & Co and Dunnes while Morrisons continues to see growth.

Moonpig won the marketing award as they strive to be creative and consistent with their campaigns, building on the popularity of Me to You’s success at key seasons such as Valentine’s Day.

Funky Pigeon won the award for compliance as they always follow the approvals process and work to Carte Blanche’s guidelines and are delightful to work with, while Finsbury took the prize for best sales data due to their thorough and detailed reporting.

The awards were presented by Gerard O’Mahony, Carte Blanche’s Commercial Director and Sarah Quigley, Head of Licensing who said “We had a fantastic day, with Tatty Teddy welcoming 22 attendees. Our marketing strategy was shared with our licensing partners and we introduced our new packaging guide. We had a 21 year quiz during our coffee break – won by Marcus Buck, Brand Manager at Unilever and finished up with awards for our best in class licensees. Many licensees made a real effort to join us, some traveling from as far as Scotland!”
