Hot licenses from Pokémon to My Little Pony

The Licensing Award winners for 2017 were unveiled during a ceremony held at Grosvenor House Hotel, London, on September 12.

The well-attended event incorporated a large raft of both retailer and product awards, with the Honorary Achievement accolade being given to Rainbow Designs and DRi Licensing managing director, Anthony Temple. The Prestigious, Best Classic Licensed Property Award was won by gaming sensation, Pokémon.

 

This year’s winners in the product categories are as follows:

Best Licensed Toys or Games: PJ Masks Toy Range from Flair

Best Licensed Dress-Up or Partyware: Disney Princess Dress-up for Sainsbury’s from Rubie’s

Best Licensed Preschool Apparel: Peter Rabbit Collection for Mothercare from Paul Dennicci

Best Licensed Children’s Apparel: Pokémon Apparel Range for Next from Fashion UK

Best Licensed Adult Apparel:  My Little Pony Collection for Primark from Bravado

Best Licensed Written, Listening or Learning range: Doctor Who Mr. Men Books from Penguin Random House

Best Licensed Paper Product: Ladybird Books for Grown-Ups Greeting Cards from Danilo

Best Licensed Home Decor, Tableware or Houseware: Slush Puppie Range from Fizz Creations

Best Licensed Food or Drink: Candy Crush Baking Kits from Bakedin

The Innovation Award: VW Retro Special Edition Fridge from Gorenje

Best Licensed Giftware: Harry Potter Giftware Range from Half Moon Bay

Best Preschool Licensed Property: PAW Patrol

Best Children’s/Tween Licensed Property: My Little Pony
