The Handmade Soap Co launches in the UK

Having started out at farmers’ markets around Ireland seven years ago, The Handmade Soap Company is making the jump across the Irish Sea to the UK.

Handmade in the charming Meath countryside, this ethical home fragrance, bath, body and skincare brand’s products don’t compromise on quality. Everything it makes is 99.7% natural, and free of parabens and SLS chemicals. The Handmade Soap Company is also cruelty-free – nothing is, or ever will be, tested on animals – and rightly so. This green ethos runs through every part of the production process, including its packaging. The beautiful card boxes are made from sustainable sources and printed using vegetable-derived ink.

Founder, Donagh Quigley is proud of his company’s ethics and mission: “There are a lot of home fragrance, beauty and grooming brands on the market, but people are becoming increasingly curious about the ingredients in these products. There’s a growing demand for natural, ethical companies, now more than ever, and I am delighted that we are at the forefront of that movement. We have spent the last seven years building a brand with complete transparency in terms of our ingredients and our practices. Everything we make is handmade using essential oils and from nature’s pantry – we’re extremely proud of that.”

The growing collection encompasses three core product ranges, Bath and Body, Home Fragrance and Hand Care, plus a Male Grooming range. Each product is available in one of four natural and beautifully fresh fragrances: grapefruit and may chang, lavender, lemongrass and cedarwood, and sweet orange. It also offers a range of travel boxes and gift sets.

All products are available to purchase directly from and coming soon to boutique gift stores and retailers nationwide.
