House of Turnowsky scoops award at inaugural Calies

House of Turnowsky was thrilled to receive the Best Corporate B2B Contemporary Calendar Award at the inaugural Calies for their sumptuous One World Pulse calendar.

Held at the beautiful and historic Stationer’s Hall in London, the Calies brought together leading lights from the calendar industry for a wonderful celebration. Other highlights of the event saw Danilo founder, Lawrence Prince, receive an industry Ambassador accolade alongside Otter House Group founder, Gary Beck.

House of Turnowsky Chief Executive, Kobi Tadmor, attended the ceremony and collected the trophy from comedienne Tania Edwards who was compere for the evening. Commenting on the award, he said: “I am very proud that the efforts of our incredible design team have been recognised with this prestigious award”.

The luxurious calendars are part of House of Turnowsky’s corporate gifts programme, which also includes antique maps, commemorative catalogues and other high-end, bespoke gifts for global firms, leading brands and well-known organisations. Many of these unique calendars and gifts have become sought-after collectors’ items over the years and House of Turnowsky is actively seeking new B2B partners who wish to expand this high potential business in the UK.

“The Calies Award also signifies 60 years of calendar publishing tradition from House of Turnowsky”, Kobi continues. “This win is especially important as our first calendar was published in 1957 and was the first of hundreds of luxury, state-of-the-art calendars published by us since. Our flagship calendars have been given as corporate gifts by the United Nations, heads of many governments and celebrities such as President Bill Clinton, President Shimon Peres, Barbara Streisand and many more.

“The Calies awards demonstrate that calendars are still a huge market and we feel privileged to be a part of such an illustrious industry for so many years. It is a huge honour to participate and extend the list of prizes and awards we have received – more than 110 so far and still counting! I would also like to congratulate all the other winners and organiser, Max Publishing, for putting on such a wonderful event for the industry.”

House of Turnowsky has been active in the UK market for many years through luxury greeting cards, novelty stationery and wall calendars and via an exclusive licensing programme for companies including UK Greetings (GWs) and Clintons (bespoke chocolate gifts).

The company’s B2B corporate gifts programme has a huge potential in the UK via their specialist bespoke calendars for corporates, and many of the coveted calendar designs can be applied onto any surface through licensing agreements. House of Turnowsky continues to develop hugely successful licensing programme, forging more than 25 partnerships worldwide with manufacturers in categories including table and dining, giftware, fashion accessories, fabrics, soft furnishing and bed linen and games and puzzles.
