15 UK sellers are Etsy Design Awards finalists

The finalists of the Etsy Design Awards (aka The Etsies), announced on Tuesday 22 September, included 15 UK sellers shortlisted from tens of thousands of entries. The finalists are in the running for the $15,000 USD Grand Prize or one of ten $1,000 USD category prizes.

The Etsy Design Awards (aka The Etsies) are a global celebration of talent from within the Etsy community, judged by in-house trend expert Dayna Isom Johnson and acclaimed actress and entrepreneur (plus HUGE Etsy fan) Drew Barrymore. Ten of thousands of entries are received from around the globe – and the category finalists celebrate the most unique and creative items made or curated by entrepreneurs.

On being part of the judging panel, Drew Barrymore said; “I have been a huge fan of Etsy for many years. All of these incredible independent sellers, from all over the world, create the most amazing items, and with such heart and passion. I love the personal cards and notes from the sellers and these one-of-a-kind items that are often made at home and sometimes with the whole family involved. I’m so happy to be able to honor this incredibly talented group of entrepreneurs”.
