One of the cutest characters in the world, Carte Blanche Greetings’ very own Tatty Teddy, celebrated his 18th birthday at Progressive Greetings Live last week.
Company founder and owner Stephen Haines was presented with a birthday cake for the famous grey bear during a champagne reception hosted by Carte Blanche on day one of the show.
Tatty Teddy was created by Carte Blanche in 1995 as the signature character of its Me to You brand. Unique and instantly recognisable, Tatty Teddy has captured hearts all over the world with his timeless message of friendship, happiness and love. The character now appears on a wide range of Me to You products including greeting cards, plush, clothing, gifts, figurines and confectionery.
Over 75 million Me to You plush bears have been sold since 2000 – that’s 25 bears sold every minute!
