Creative Tops partners with National Trust

NT Logo (Hi-res)Kitchen and homeware specialist Creative Tops Ltd has been awarded the National Trust licence across kitchenware and homeware products, which will also include glassware and cutlery. The Creative Tops design team will work closely with the National Trust’s Licensing agency, The Licensing Company, with the remit to build upon the brands’ rich cultural heritage in the UK.

Back in 1895, Octavia Hill, Sir Robert Hunter and Canon Hardwicke Rawnsley created the National Trust with the aim of saving our nation’s heritage and open spaces for the benefit of everyone. A century and a bit on, and the National Trust is still upholding these values and championing the importance of special places for ever, for everyone.

The National Trust looks after lots of special places including, historic houses, gardens, mills, coastline, forests, farmland, moorland, islands, castles, nature reserves, villages and pubs and the sales of every item in the Creative Tops National Trust range will help support these places and ensure they can be enjoyed by many for generations.

Phillippa Green, Brand Licensing Manager for the National Trust explains, “Licensed products help raise awareness of the National Trust and generate valuable income for our charitable work, with all profits directly helping the Trust’s future protection of special places in its care. Our Licensed partners are carefully selected for their quality, reach, sustainable business practices, ethical sourcing and synergy with the National Trust brand”.

‘We’re thrilled to be working with Creative Tops and look forward to providing them with access to the special places, collections and archives in our care, so that their design team can create a collection of home and kitchenware products inspired by the National Trust”.

Clare Farthing, Marketing and PR Manager for Creative Top states, “We are delighted to be working with such a brand that has so many touch-points across the nation. The fact that these wonderful places are open to everyone means that both young and old can benefit from the unique stories they have to tell”.

Will Stewart, Retail and Brands Director for TLC, says, “We are excited to announce the partnership between National Trust and Creative Tops. Creative Tops are the ideal partner to develop an accessible, commercial range of homeware that supports the strategy and brand promises of the National Trust”.
